Giuseppina Diamante, RN, MS, CSN, Head Nurse in Neptune Township School District received the 2015 Distinguished School Nurse Alumni Award at the NEW JERSEY CITY UNIVERSITY ALUMNI RECEPTION during the New Jersey Education Association Convention November 5, 2015.
"Gius", pronounced "Juice" as she is known by, has a number of school nursing accolades that are in her CV. In addition to her day job, she also is an Adjunct Professor for both, NJCU & Monmouth University. She coordinates a Diabetes Support Group for students and families in conjunction with JDRF; serves as Coordinator of the Comprehensive Health Center for school based health services for Neptune City, Bradley Beach, Neptune City; works with K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at JSUMC, A member of the Meridian Health Network, to coordinate the scheduling of medical residents for their Community Rotation and much more.
A well deserved honor for Gius. Her school district's BOE will be recognizing her at their November 24th meeting. Congrats and keep on doing the great school nursing work!
