The January Share Shop meeting went very well. School nurses exchanged forms, ways to document as well as discussed various community resources that are available to enhance the role for the school nurse.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Laura T. Jannone, RN, NJ-CSN, FNASN, Associate Professor, Graduate Faculty, Coordinator of the School Nurse Program of Monmouth University provided a “Thank You” presentation to all who donated for the Foundation for Peace/Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing’s “Haiti Mission Trip”. She spoke about the experience had by all in delivering care to families of the country. She described how nursing students said it was one of the most rewarding experiences that they have ever partaken of and are planning to go again next year.
