I have been a special education teacher for twenty years. I have taught children with various special needs including autism. I did do respite work for several years with one of my students. I began working with children with special needs as a camp counselor at CPC Behavioral Healthcare. After graduating from college, I then was a teacher assistant and later became a teacher at CPC. When I decided to leave CPC, I began substituting at the Woodrow Wilson School in Neptune City and later became a special education teacher. All of my experiences with these individuals has been rewarding and touched my life in a way that I didn’t know possible. |
